Description
As a Designer at Deltatre, I contributed to transforming global sports experiences through innovative digital solutions. By merging technology and creativity, we elevated fan engagement and set new industry benchmarks.
Context
I worked on a major international sports project, leveraging FORGE, Deltatre’s proprietary Design System, to deliver consistent, scalable, and user-focused solutions—all while adhering to strict NDA requirements.
Challenges
Designing an application dedicated to sports journalism from scratch was both an exciting and demanding challenge. The goal was to create a platform that was intuitive, fast, and easy to use, while maintaining a design language and tone perfectly aligned with the client’s vision.
To achieve this, I had to balance multiple priorities: ensuring a seamless user experience, adhering to the client’s branding guidelines, and delivering a product capable of handling the fast-paced demands of sports journalism. Collaborating with Senior UX Designers, Developers, and Product Owners was essential in navigating these challenges.
Each team member brought unique insights—Senior UX Designers contributed user-centric strategies, Developers ensured technical feasibility, and Product Owners aligned the design with business objectives. This cross-disciplinary teamwork required open communication and flexibility to integrate diverse perspectives into a cohesive solution.
The result was an application that not only met but exceeded expectations: a tool that empowers users with speed and simplicity while staying true to the client’s identity. This project taught me the importance of balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals to deliver a product that resonates deeply with its audience.
Process
✨ From Idea to Reality
Turning an idea into reality is a journey fueled by collaboration, creativity, and precision. Working alongside Senior UX Designers, Developers, Product Owners (POs), and other designers has been key to crafting solutions that are both functional and deeply resonate with users.
💡 It All Starts with a Spark
Every project begins by analyzing the client’s vision—often outlined in a proposal protected by strict NDAs. From there, we define the project requirements, setting the stage for everything to follow. Early brainstorming sessions in Figjam become a space where creativity meets strategy, refining ideas and aligning them with business goals.
🗺️ Structure and Wireframes
With the foundation laid, we create a detailed site map based on the Key Product Document (KPD)—a blueprint for the application’s structure. This evolves into wireframes, visual prototypes that define the app’s layout and functionality. Each wireframe undergoes rigorous evaluation to ensure it meets user needs while adhering to technical constraints and branding guidelines.

Once approved, wireframes transform into individual components—the building blocks of the application. Each piece is meticulously designed to integrate seamlessly, forming pages that bring the product to life.

Solution
The solution emerged as a direct result of the collaborative and methodical process we followed. By leveraging the strengths of a diverse team, aligning creativity with strategy, and utilizing tools like FORGE, we delivered a product that was both intuitive and aligned with the client’s vision.
Each step—from brainstorming in Figjam to crafting wireframes and designing seamless components—laid the groundwork for a solution that met user needs, respected technical constraints, and embodied the client’s identity. By delivering a product built on these solid foundations, we ensured that the next phases of development could progress smoothly, enabling the client to expand and refine the application while maintaining consistency and quality.
